Freddy Peralta Starts for Rays as Guardians Face Playoff Elimination in Game 6

The Tampa Bay Rays are one victory away from advancing to the World Series, a title they have yet to win in their history. Tonight, they will face the Cleveland Guardians in Game 6, with the Guardians needing a win to avoid elimination. Previously, Cleveland managed to win three straight games in an elimination scenario against the White Sox. However, their recent performance has seen them score only eight runs across four games since an impressive seven-run outing in Game 1.

The Rays call upon Freddy Peralta to start tonight after a remarkable stint since joining from the Mets. In his recent postseason appearances, he has shown promise but there are doubts on whether he will pitch deep into the game. Many believe he may only last around four innings, especially given that he pitched just two days ago. While the Rays have found ways to score consistently, the Guardians will need to step up their game if they hope to extend the series.
