Jalen Hurts is grappling with a significant health issue as the Philadelphia Eagles have placed him on injured reserve, caused by a blood clot. Being on the IR means Hurts will miss at least four games, and he is currently regarded as being out “indefinitely” while the team ensures the clot dissipates.
According to Jay Glazer from “FOX NFL Sunday”, the franchise plans to bring back Hurts only if the blood clot “completely melted.” Initially, the blood clot was superficial and not moving, which allowed Hurts to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, once the blood clot began to move, the situation became critical, as it could pose a life-threatening risk. The Eagles have Tanner McKee starting in Hurts’ absence, who made his debut against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
