The Chicago Bears managed a victory against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6, thanks to the return of quarterback Caleb Williams and cornerback Kyler Gordon from injuries. However, running back Kyle Monangai’s return ahead of the Thursday Night Football matchup against the New England Patriots looks uncertain.
Monangai has missed the last two weeks with a turf toe injury and a minor thumb issue. He previously enjoyed a breakout game against the New York Jets, where he tallied 146 rushing yards and two touchdowns after stepping in as the RB1. Unfortunately, he hasn’t participated in any practices for two weeks, making it unlikely he will play without significant progress.
The Bears have struggled on the ground during his absence, and despite Williams’ return, the team could face challenges against the 4-2 Patriots.
