Trader Joe's has 30 new stores in the works — find out where they're opening

Trader Joe’s is set to expand its reach with the addition of 30 new stores across 16 states. This week, the grocery chain will inaugurate two new locations in Anaheim Hills, California, and West Jordan, Utah. The remaining 28 locations, spread from Arizona to Washington, are marked as “coming soon.” A spokesperson for Trader Joe’s indicated that new stores typically get added to the list three to six months before they open.

Leading the expansion, Illinois will have four new stores in Oswego, Chicago, and Joliet. Other states include California, Florida, and Texas with three each, and several others with two or one planned locations. Trader Joe’s, operating roughly 660 stores nationwide, aims to keep growing and bringing quality products to communities while maintaining a focus on effective real estate and supply-chain strategies.
